About the Role
Golden Masala Indian Cuisine is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Server to join our team. This position is available for both full-time and part-time applicants.
As a Server, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders accurately, serving meals, answering menu-related questions, processing payments, and ensuring guests have an excellent dining experience. You will also help maintain a clean and organized dining area and work closely with the kitchen and other team members to provide efficient and professional service.
We are looking for someone who is positive, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
FOODSAFE Level 1 certification is required.
Serving It Right certification is required.
Previous serving or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Ability to take orders accurately and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness practices.
Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
